Approach
We developed a sourcing strategy for each of the 6 categories that would deliver the commercial benefit the client was targeting. The major category, logistics, we took to market and segmented the network based on destination and consolidated volume from their 2 key manufacturing sites, which were 10kms apart
Outcome
We delivered a total cost reduction of 16% across all 6 categories of spend which was significantly higher than the 6% client expectation
